Case information: Klein v. Leis, 795 N.E. 2d 633 (Ohio 2003) (No. 02-585)

At issue:  Challenging state’s concealed carry ban.  This action challenged an Ohio statute prohibiting the carrying of concealed firearms.

Law Center’s Brief:  Our brief argues that regulating concealed weapons is a reasonable exercise of the legislature’s power.  The brief claims that the legislature, not the courts, is better able to fashion solutions to gun violence.  The court ultimately upheld the statute.
