Idaho permits the open carrying of any long gun or handgun in a motor vehicle with no license or permit.1 Idaho also permits the concealed carrying of “[a]ny deadly weapon concealed in a motor vehicle” with no license or permit.2

Employers are immune from civil damages arising out of any policy whereby the employer allows or does not otherwise prohibit the storage of firearms by employees in their personal motor vehicle while on the employer’s business premises.3
